JM Family Enterprises, Inc. is a privately held, diversified company and an industry leader in vehicle distribution and processing, financial services, retail automotive sales and home improvement franchising. When we began working with JM Family in 2024, they were delivering not one enterprise-wide, large-scale modernization and transformation program - they were delivering four. And all in parallel.

These modernization programs span across the enterprise, and they all had a clear business case:

Equip business analysts (BA) and quality assurance testers (QA) with a tool that will flex technology capacity and support the rapid onboarding of new talent.

We came away with three main requirements:

  1. The programs had a variation of experienced and newer BAs and QA testers with diverse skillsets, levels and needs
  2. The solution must be easy enough for newer talent to use and robust enough to give beneficial support to more tenured BAs and QAs
  3. We must close the gaps that often lead to higher defects and delayed deployments by addressing inconsistent requirements gathering, incomplete user stories and variations in test cases

This was the genesis of BAQA Genie. Named after our partnership with the initial target audience of BAs and QAs, this innovative AI-powered solution supports users every step of the way as they:

  • Generate impactful acceptance criteria
  • Create test cases with wider coverage based on the user stories
